My name is Julia Joos and I am one of the dual students at KACO GmbH + Co KG. As you can see, with the help of our new training blog we are giving you an insight into our everyday lives as junior employees of the sealing experts from Kirchardt! How did we get involved? Well – “through me” \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n

First of all, I started an apprenticeship as an industrial clerk at KACO and successfully completed it. Afterwards, the company offered me the chance to complete a dual study programme. And here I am now – a dual student in the field of business administration – industry!<\/p>\n\n

I am currently in the 4th semester of my studies and we have to write our project work 2 during our practical phase. I’m sure you’re wondering what project work is all about. The project work is supposed to prepare us for the Bachelor’s thesis. We learn to apply scientific work not only theoretically, but also in practice. I was allowed to write my project 2 in marketing. My topic was the conception of a training blog and whether it can be used to increase the awareness of a training company. The project work is divided into a theoretical part and a practical part. In the theoretical part, the first step is to learn about the topic theoretically with the help of literature and to identify different models. In the practical part, the topic is examined again with the help of various research methods, so that at the end you can combine theory and practice and derive recommendations for action for your own company. In my case, I chose expert interviews as the research method. First, I researched on the internet to find out who had a training blog and which one appealed to me. Then I contacted the companies or the contact persons to find out whether they were willing to do an expert interview on the topic of “training blogs”. And that’s where we get to the point! Tadaaaaaa – here is our new training blog! The great thing about this whole project is that I was not only able to look at the topic theoretically, but I can really put it into practice and this blog will really be realised.<\/p>\n\n
