KG was awarded the \u201cDevelopment Excellence Award\u201d by Hitachi Automotive Systems at Hitachi Automotive Systems Americas\u2019 annual supplier conference in Richmond, Kentucky. The award was given \u201cin recognition of outstanding Development performance achievement\u201d with regards to advances and improvements in product design and manufacturing processes for water pump mechanical seal products provided to Hitachi\u2019s Unisia Mexicana S.A. DE C.V plant in Lerma, Mexico. Hitachi\u2019s Unisia Mexicana is one of the leading companies for producing automotive water pumps in North America and one of the most important customers to KACO. This award is of extreme importance to KACO, as it honors the long term excellent relation to the Japanese based automotive supplier. Also it represents the strong innovative capacity as being the technological trendsetter in the area of dynamic seal.
