Based on its core competencies of metal forming, vulcanization, injection molding and assembly manufacturing, KACO offers various individual components and assemblies for common battery cell types for electrification.
One of KACO’s core competencies is the ability to assemble a large number of different components into an assembly in a process-safe manner and in large quantities. In addition to the well-known Battery Quick Deflations, which are used within the Battery Pack, new individual components for the battery cell level could be realized.
With a wide range of high-quality solutions for battery pack, battery module and battery cells, KACO has further strengthened its position as a pioneer in the industry. The Battery Show already showcased the range of innovative battery parts. The show provided the perfect platform for KACO to showcase its battery solutions to an international audience of experts and industry leaders.

KACO’s latest battery innovations include:
a) Can: This can be realized in various designs and forms the housing of each cylindrical cell. Highly automated production concepts including washing automation, end-of-line testing and packaging are part of a newly established standard here in order to realize the high quantities demanded by customers.
b) Lid: Forms the end cap of a cylindrical can and is also technically feasible in combination with a bursting function.
c) Lid Assembly: Forms the end cap of a prismatic cell and consists of several individual components. In a fully automated production line, the individual components are fed to the plant in a targeted manner and assembled into an assembly in several assembly steps. In order to maintain KACO’s value chain at a high level, a large proportion of the individual components are manufactured within the company’s own production facilities.
Battery emergency vents incl. pressure equalization element:
In the event of a battery malfunction, KACO’s battery quick exhaust valves ensure that the required volume of air can escape quickly. The flow-optimized vent valves from the sealing expert offer an outstanding ratio in terms of overall height and maximum possible volume flow. Our emergency vents are offered as reversible and irreversible solutions. All designs can be equipped with additional aeration and deaeration elements so that, in addition to safeguarding against failure, regular pressure equalization of the battery due to pressure and temperature fluctuations can also be ensured.
