The expert for sealing solutions continuously expands its portfolio for static sealing solutions. Besides the core competences in dynamic sealing and other product groups like venting, deflation, hydraulics, trigger wheels and others the company’s engineering footprint for various designs of gaskets has been established.KACO offers a wide range of static seals.
From pure molded rubber parts, so called press in place gaskets (PIP), to various designs bonded to carrier components, we offer the right solution for static sealing tasks. Specific requirements such as ease of assembly, functional integration or EMC protection are met according to the application. Furthermore different kinds of composite gaskets are a part of the portfolio enabling KACO to offer highly integrated system solutions.
Based on the requirements of the applications the best suitable material is available in the portfolio. Materials like FKM, ACM/AEM, HNBR, EPDM or silicone are matched for the need of the sealing tasks. Depended on the customers’ expectations KACO can offer solutions for flat sealing surfaces or grooves in the housing. For safely sealing bores or holes cap seals are available for various applications. KACO will help their customers to find the best static sealing design with regard to functionality, handling and cost. Based on state of the art CAE tools the sealing expert helps to customize the interface of sealing and housing.
In the global R&D centers different tests are available support the engineering work of static seals as well as for dynamic seals and other products.
KACO also offers static sealing solutions by being the sales representative for Solyem. The focus here is the so called LEM technology for creating carrier based gaskets with the opportunity to install specific features. LEM seals allow an easy and quick manual or automatic assembly. This technology is partially able to win as a sealing solution where other designs are limited.
