FKM
First choice for shaft seals
KACO’s portfolio of FKM materials includes bisphenol- and peroxide-cured grades with glass transition points from – 4 °C to – 40 °C for static and dynamic applications in the hardness range from 50 to 90 Shore A.
The upper temperature limit is over + 200 °C. The materials can be processed in CM, TM and IM processes, as well as in cold runner and needle closure systems.
Their main areas of application are shaft seals in engines, fuel pumps and gearboxes.

ACM
Proven in static and dynamic sealing systems
KACO offers various ACM compounds in a hardness range from 65 to 80 Shore A and a thermal application range from – 30 °C to + 150 °C.
Three new HT-ACM compounds extend the application range to – 35 °C to + 170 °C. Of course, these materials can also be processed in all known manufacturing processes – including cold runner and valve gate.
The field of application of these high-performance elastomers are static and dynamic sealing systems.

AEM (VAMAC)
Easy to process
AEM materials are available from KACO in hardness ranges from 60 to 90 Shore A.
Their oil resistance and glass transition points vary according to requirements. They can be processed very well in modern manufacturing processes.
All AEM materials from KACO are DOTG-free. They are mainly used in so-called “gear pistons” and in static sealing systems.

NBR
Special know-how in all areas
For the sealing expert, NBR materials stand for outstanding media resistance.
The material offers a hardness range of 60 to 90 Shore A and a thermal application range of -40 to +100°C. (use shock absorber seal and washing machine seal)

HNBR
Perfect for high temperature requirements
Due to the high temperature requirements for our products, KACO’s HNBR materials are fully hydrogenated and peroxide cross-linked.
The materials are available in a temperature range from – 40 °C to + 135 °C and in hardness ranges from 50 to 90 Shore A.
The HNBR materials are used in sealing systems of the vehicle cooling system, in power steering systems and in the air intake and exhaust management of engines.

PTFE-Compounds
Special developments
For many years, RWDR with PTFE lip have replaced the classic FPM RWDR mainly in the crankshaft and camshaft area.
Together with a leading PTFE compounder, KACO has developed several PTFE materials for this application.
Furthermore, a PTFE compound is available for sealing systems in fuel pumps.
