Radial and axial encoders

In the digital age, specific key technologies cannot be missing. These include radial and axial magnetic encoders. To apply special magnetic coding to these encoders, KACO uses magnetisation processes that are tailored to the different sensor types and applications. A central prerequisite for this is optimum vulcanisation.

In magnetisation, we distinguish between dynamic and static processes. In the dynamic magnetisation process, the encoder moves and the magnetisation head applies the magnetisation step by step. This process enables very fine and complex magnetisation patterns. If necessary, corrective magnetisation can be applied downstream.

In the static magnetisation process, a specially manufactured magnetisation tool applies the magnetisation in one step. This process is very robust and enables fast cycle times.

For a reliable result, our experts can simulate the magnetisation in advance using special software. Before series application, precise measurement and verification are carried out to ensure the signal specification required by the customer.
