Vulcanisation
Great expertise
Due to its long tradition and leading technologies, KACO has a great core competence in rubber-metal components, dynamic seals, pure rubber moulded parts (AXIA, grooved rings) as well as static seals.
- Valve gate technology: Valve gate technology is a sprue-free gating of the components. This means that no sprue system remains, which has to be removed, as is the case with other processes. Finished components are delivered from the injection moulding process.
- One-Piece-Flow: This method is established at KACO for reheating in the continuous flow oven. This bundles the various steps at one workstation. From the machine to the packaging, everything takes place in one process. This allows KACO to work extremely time-efficiently and there is no material buffer. (Application: e.g. PTFE shaft seals, pistons, gear shift pistons)
For the product Sealcover elastomers are injected in two independent injection units.
Compression Molding
This classic yet cost-efficient process is used in our competence centre in Anhui. By inserting the steel part into the rubber, short flow paths of the products are achieved.
Injection Molding
The parts are manufactured by mould injection with an automated vulcanisation process.
Injection Transfer Molding
This process involves pressing cast material into a closed mould. This process is more environmentally friendly, more cost-efficient and can reduce manufacturing times.
