Ventilation
The modular venting system from the sealing expert enables controlled pressure equalisation for the ventilation and deaeration of units on the basis of different material and design concepts. Requirements such as oil-tightness of transmissions in the event of vehicle rollover, wading capability, fulfilment of the required IP protection classes in general as well as the combination with other functions such as battery quick venting in electric vehicles are ensured by KACO’s product portfolio.
Emergency vents
In the event of a battery malfunction, KACO’s quick battery vents ensure that the required amount of air can escape quickly. The flow-optimised vent valves from the sealing experts offer an excellent ratio between overall height and maximum possible volume flow. Our emergency vents are offered as reversible and irreversible solutions. All designs can be equipped with additional aeration and deaeration elements so that, in addition to safeguarding against failure, regular pressure equalisation of the battery due to pressure and temperature fluctuations can also be ensured.
